Fishing Report – Sept. 27, 2019

Anglers heading out on the water this weekend should expect temperatures in the low 70’s with scattered showers and variable winds.
Windy conditions over the last week have hindered salmon fishing. Anglers have reported slower catch rates due to the winds. Fish are still targeting green and orange Dreamweaver Magnum Spoons 50 to 100 feet down in 120 to 180 feet of water. Pier fisherman have had success catching Coho near the river mouths.
Lake trout are being caught in about 80 feet of water; most being caught using trolling techniques.
Pan fish have picked up in select areas, anglers have been having success with Sabiki Rigs by P-Line.
Pike fishing has also picked up.  Most anglers are having success fishing lures like Countdown Jerkbaits by Rapala, Minnow Spin Spinners by Blue Fox, and Bondy Prophet Musky Crankbaits.
Anglers have been having success fishing for bass with baits like the Chatterbait Elite Bladed Jig by Z-Man, Brad’s Magnum Wigglers, and Azuma Shaker Z Lipless Crankbaits by Profound Outdoors.
