Fishing Report – Oct. 3, 2019

A cold front has moved into Michigan, and temperatures are expected to be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s with slight chances of rain.
Pier anglers are finding small numbers of Coho by fishing spawn. Boat anglers have reported that fish are being caught but catches are limited. Anglers have been catching salmon on orange and green Michigan Stinger Spoons by Advanced Tackle in 80 to 150 feet of water.
Lake trout have been caught with yellow and green Worden’s Spin-N-Glos by Yakima while fishing the bottom in 110 to 160 feet of water.
Perch fisherman have reported fewer numbers due to the fish being scattered.
Bass are in their fall feeding patterns, expect fish to be more aggressive. Anglers should try various bait fish imitators like the Arashi Spinbait by Storm, Realis Spinbait by Duo, or a 360GT Searchbait by Storm Lures.
