Fishing Report – Sept. 12, 2019

Expect temperatures in the low 80’s this weekend with occasional rain showers.
The salmon run has begun in southern Michigan with many anglers catching Coho and Chinook. Pier anglers have had great success with casting spoons like Acme Spoons or Eppinger's Dardevle Spoons. Anglers on the Kalamazoo River are also starting to catch salmon on Dardevle Klicker Spoons by Eppinger and Panther Martin Inline Spinners.
Lake trout fishing has picked back up with anglers catching fish on a variety of Worden’s Spin-N-Glos by Yakima Bait; the main color being Yellow.
Bass fishing is starting to pick back up as largemouth in the lakes enter their fall patterns. Anglers have reported bass being more aggressive in schools of baitfish. Try throwing bait fish imitations like the Jackhammer Bladed Jigs by Z-Man, Hack Attack Swim Jig by Strike King, or a Matt Allen Swimbait Jig Head by Dirty Jigs Tackle paired with a Swing Impact Swimbait by Keitech.
