Fishing Report – Nov. 21, 2019

The weather for the weekend is expected to be partly cloudy with temperatures in the high 30’s to low 40’s.
Pier anglers are finding good numbers of steelhead while using fresh spawn. Those fishing under the Allegan Dam are reporting good numbers of steelhead as well. Warmer temperatures and lower water levels have increased the catch rates of steelhead in the river.   Inline Spinners by Panther Martin, Model H 2" Hot ‘N Tots by Storm and flies have been the go-to lures.
Those fishing for whitefish reported good numbers off of the pier jigging with round jig heads like Mission Tackle's Single Eye Jig Heads.
Fishing below dams have started to pick back up as anglers report catching many pike, walleye, and smallmouth bass. Those fishing Brad’s Wiggler Crankbaits by B.S. Fish Tales with the current have had success.
