Fishing Report – Nov. 7, 2019

Weather this weekend is expected to be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid 30’s to low 40’s with wind speeds 10-15 mph.
Steelhead fishing is slowing down due to water temperatures dropping. Anglers on the Kalamazoo River are still having success floating chartreuse colored spawn. Pier anglers are also having success catching steelhead and walleye.
Anglers are finding good numbers of pike in lower river and marsh areas. Baits like Aglia Dressed In-Line Spinners by Mepps and Spinners by Blue Fox have been working.
Water levels should lower and trout fishing should pick up in the upcoming weeks. Anglers are having success at the moment with smaller spinners like the Vibrax Spinners by Blue Fox and small crankbaits like the Bitsy Minnow Mini Crankbait by Strike King.
