D&R Series Updates & Changes
The D&R series has 1 major change in 2026. On all lakeshore events, the channel connecting to Lake Michigan will be closed to fishing. These boundaries will be clearly defined at each event, but will generally be the beginning of the steel break walls at the channel entrance. The grand river boundary will be up to the Lake Michigan beach line only.
The D&R series championship is also no longer being withheld until the last event – the championship this season will be a 2 day event held on the Grand River and Muskegon Lake (1 day each) Oct 10th & 11th.
Anglers can prepay for the season or register for 4 of 5 events to qualify for the championship.
Each regular series event will have a cash drawing pool for Loomis/Shimano purchase made at D&R sports along with other contingencies. Details on the WMB website.
